What is Professional Auction Representation?

Bidding at auction takes more than just a cool head. It’s a combination of strategy, timing, negotiation, and knowing when to push on or walk away.

For some, the pressure and emotion becomes too much to handle. This may influence their decision to view properties or bid at auction in the future.

If this sounds like you, the Hot Property Buyers Agency team can get you back in the game.

Our professional auction representation provides buyers with a trained negotiator bidding on their behalf, ensuring emotion stays out of the room and you don’t overpay for the property.

You get a cool-headed, experienced negotiator working & bidding to secure your property at the best possible price, all with a clear strategy set in advance and no risk of getting caught up in the heat of the moment.

This auction bidding service can also be booked by busy professionals, interstate or overseas buyers who can’t attend in person, and experienced investors who want anonymous expert representation.

Bidding at Auction

What are the essential steps for bidding at a property auction?

Being prepared for a property auction isn’t just about the bid.

It’s important to do your research and make informed decisions before you register.

  • 16-16-icon Property Research: Get an online valuation, view recent nearby sales, and view suburb plans and developments.
  • 16-16-icon Inspection: If you’re interested in the property, take photos and notes of any new features or work required.
  • 16-16-icon Strategy: Discuss in advance what rules you will impose on yourself. Know what you’re prepared to pay, and when you’ll walk away.

How We Represent You At Auction

Auction Bidding Service Process

Found a property you love that’s going to auction? Here’s how we can help.

Timeline & Duration

To book your Auction Representative, you’ll need to speak with us and engage our services ahead of the specific auction date. Speak to us sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

Our Auction Strategy session typically takes place and is completed in the days leading up to the auction. It helps to have a confirmed maximum budget, and readiness to complete authority paperwork before auction day.

The engagement concludes once the auction outcome is completed.
